Foundation History
About Our Foundation
In 2021, Troy Morrison created The Gladys Foundation to honor his mother and the values she taught. Through this foundation, he began giving back to his North Texas Community. The foundation first funded Troy’s top three programs: the Hardship Fund, M.A.D Scholarship, and Pop’s Provisions.
The Gladys Foundation has since grown and now not only covers those programs, but also has community partners that we both donate to and volunteer for.
Foundation History
About Gladys
Gladys grew up in Louisiana. She married the love of her life and they had 6 children together. At the age of 36, Gladys was widowed. Despite never having worked outside of the home, she was determined to raise her children, aging from 6 weeks to 14 years old. Her dedication as a mother and her servant’s heart pulled her through the next few decades as she worked to provide a good life for her children.
Gladys is Troy Morrison’s mother and his inspiration for the North Texas Family’s Core Values: Positive Energy, Integrity, Accountability, Guest Focus, Servant Leadership, & Recognition.
Her favorite words she would say in French:
